We have the opportunity for you to work as a Consolidation Manager for a 15-month term, in a pleasant working environment where collaboration, respect and innovation are emphasized. As a Consolidation Manager, you will supervise the activities of a team of accountants and ensure that tasks and workloads are properly distributed to meet deadlines.


You will be responsible for the performance appraisals of the employees under your supervision, in conjunction with the other manager and the relevant senior advisors, and will review all financial information prepared, including partner files, quarterly financial statements, audited financial statements, legal financial statements and financial statements for tax purposes, as well as statistical reports for Canada.


In addition, you will be responsible for resolving the various issues encountered in the investments under your supervision, ensuring a business relationship with the external partners responsible for the investments under your supervision, and validating accounting policy discrepancy analyses between the company and the partners.


In addition, you will coordinate the accounting automation process with various stakeholders for new investments, coordinate and respond to ad hoc requests for financial information from asset management, and assist senior advisors in supporting business units.


You will also monitor compliance with the contractual clauses contained in the various partnership agreements, and coordinate the receipt of all financial data from partners.

Bilingual CPA with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, including a few years in supervision and team management. A very good command of the accounting aspects of consolidation and currency conversion is a requirement. We are looking for a professional with good knowledge of Canadian and international accounting standards, as well as excellent analytical skills and the ability to synthesize and interpret complex information. The candidate will be autonomous and able to manage priorities and perform under pressure. He/she will have a natural ability to innovate, be creative and challenge the way things are done. Knowledge of J.D Edwards is an asset.
