Our client, a strong and rapidly growing company with multiple business sectors, is seeking a corporate controller to join their team and act as the right hand of the CFO, who adopts a coaching role and a participative management style. As corporate controller, you will coordinate your team’s activities to ensure the timely delivery of financial reports in line with the organization’s quality standards. You will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and approving monthly financial statements, including validating journal entries, reviewing balance sheet items, and analyzing performance variances.
You will play a key role in communicating results to senior management by presenting clear, concise analyses to the president and division leaders. As a team leader, you will drive efforts to ensure consistency and accuracy in monthly financial deliverables. You will also oversee compliance with accounting standards and deadlines, including tax filings and other statutory obligations.
You will be involved in gathering financial information to support decision-making, coordinating annual external audits, and preparing budgets. Finally, you will contribute to various special projects aimed at continuously improving financial and operational practices. Your role is strategic—at the intersection of operations, analysis, and financial governance.

CPA with a minimum of 5 years of experience, ideally in the real estate sector and in team management, with an intrapreneurial mindset. You are known for your ability to effectively plan, organize, and structure work, while being a motivating team player who inspires collaboration around you. Your ease in communicating at all levels of the organization, combined with your energy, positive attitude, and creativity, makes you a key contributor to continuous process improvement.
You remain calm under pressure and demonstrate excellent judgment in decision-making. You excel at managing priorities and are comfortable navigating unexpected or complex situations. You have strong synthesis skills and are quick to learn.
