As Manager, Complex Accounting, you will be responsible for assessing the accounting implications of complex and non-routine transactions, and preparing accounting documentation and memos relating to these transactions.
You will take charge of various special projects such as business acquisitions (purchase price allocation), implementation of new accounting standards and compliance.
You will also supervise the work of the complex accounting analyst, participate in the quarterly financial disclosure process, provide technical support to the various finance teams, multidisciplinary teams and business units on accounting standards and financial accounting issues.
In addition, you will participate in the development, maintenance and implementation of the company's accounting policies, provide in-house training on new accounting standards and various accounting topics, and review accounting analyses and memos from other team members.
You will also be responsible for reviewing the statutory financial statements of the company's companies, and will coordinate the audit and SOX compliance testing of non-routine accounting positions and transactions with internal and external auditors.
Finally, you will support the Financial Reporting team for monthly and quarterly reporting for complex and non-routine matters.

Fluently bilingual CPA with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a large company in a similar position, including a few years in public financial accounting, financial reporting, consolidation and complex accounting. We are looking for a candidate with a good knowledge of US accounting standards (an asset), excellent skills in interpreting accounting standards and their practical application, and good communication skills. The chosen candidate will be rigorous, autonomous and possess sound professional judgment.
