We have an opportunity for you to work as a Senior Financial Analyst in a company in the insurance sector. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be primarily responsible for the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, including regulatory reporting. You will prepare and analyze financial data and validate and approve accounts payable and cash receipts. In addition, you will communicate and coordinate with other Group companies for certain financial information and participate in the audit process. You will also contribute to ad hoc projects and mandates where your skills will add value to the project and verify budgets and variances. In addition, you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the operating expenses of the various companies, ensuring compliance and controlling information between the administrative and accounting systems. Finally, you will support the maintenance of the accounting system by following policies and procedures in accordance with the laws and regulations in place.

CPA (or pending) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a firm or in the insurance industry, who is proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel). We are looking for a candidate who is willing to learn, has excellent organizational and time management skills and has good analytical skills. The candidate must also be hands on, able to work in a team and have a taste for challenges. Experience in insurance is an asset.
