As an Accounting Technician, you will be responsible for recording invoices and expense accounts in the accounting system, coding invoices according to the established chart of accounts and ensuring the approval of each invoice and expense account. In addition, you will create new suppliers in the accounting system, perform follow-ups with suppliers (statements of account) and electronic filing of invoices. You will also be responsible for invoicing the sales of the week as well as following up on the accounts receivable. You will also prepare electronic payments (EFT), record payments in the system and perform bank and credit card reconciliations. In addition, you will be responsible for preparing payroll and remittances for DAS (60 employees) and posting entries in the accounting system. Finally, you will prepare account reconciliations and analyses, assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements and participate in the preparation of the annual financial audit as well as tax audits throughout the year. Finally, you will participate in special projects related to accounting and the improvement of internal controls related to the department.


Candidate with a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar position and a good knowledge of Excel. We are looking for a candidate with a great ability to work in a team, a good capacity of adaptation as well as an excellent sense of organization and management of priorities. The candidate must be autonomous, have a good learning capacity, be detail-oriented and rigorous. Knowledge of Microsoft Business Central, Emprez and EmployeurD are assets.
