Description

Would you like to work for a company in the trendy high-tech sector? This is your chance to work as an FP&A analyst in a highly flexible company. You'll report to a manager we know and love. As an Assistant Controller, you will maintain the fixed assets auxiliary, analyze sales department commissions, reconcile inter-company transactions and reconcile payables and receivables auxiliaries.

 

In addition, you will prepare and submit sales tax reports, prepare month-end accounting entries and perform bank reconciliations on a daily basis. 

 

You will also be responsible for reconciling balance sheet items and certain income statements, applying accounting policies and raising anomalies. 

 

You will also document accounting and internal control policies and procedures, monitor internal control, maintain month-end schedules and assist in the production of claims and reports.

 

In addition, you will assist and generate inter-site commissions and all aspects of the general ledger, prepare monthly and quarterly sales tax, and provide monthly, quarterly and year-end analyses.

 

Great opportunity to act as a resource person for your colleagues and to participate in ad hoc projects aimed at optimizing controls and information quality. You'll be able to apply new business processes and participate in setting up internal control bases.

Profile

Bilingual CPA with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role and a BAC in administration (or related field), with an advanced level of Excel. We are looking for a candidate with a good knowledge of IFRS, experience in a manufacturing, multi-currency and multi-site environment. Knowledge of an ERP system is an asset. The successful candidate will be a good communicator and team player. They should be open to change and know how to adapt to it.
