Our client, a large Quebec-based company in the distribution sector, listed on the stock exchange and a leader in its field in Canada and the USA, is looking for a Financial Analyst, Operational Accounting. The organization is growing through acquisitions, with a vision of speed of execution and absence of bureaucracy. You will report directly to a manager who is the opposite of a micro-manager, and who is always available. The manager is very results-oriented and advocates autonomy. You'll have the opportunity to work in a fast-moving company that's doing very well financially. This position will give you a lot of visibility, as you'll be in direct contact with the VP Finance. The position is offered in hybrid mode.
As a Financial Analyst, you will work with divisional management to carry out the monthly and weekly financial disclosure process.
In addition, you will be responsible for analyzing, challenging and contextualizing divisional results and key performance indicators (KPIs) for senior management.
You will also advise and assist divisions on accounting standards and budgeting processes.
In addition, you will develop and maintain a strong relationship with divisional management, as well as ensuring prompt response and resolution of specific financial requirements.
Finally, you will be responsible for preparing various reports that highlight financial results and forecasts.
CPA (or ipending) with a minimum of 3 years of experience, and who has an advanced level of Excel as well as financial analysis. We are looking for a candidate who is autonomous, organized, self-taught and rigorous, with a strong desire to learn. He or she will be able to meet deadlines and have an excellent ability to build lasting relationships. We are looking for someone who is willing to travel occasionally on business. Experience in the distribution industry is an asset.
