For a large public company in the financial industry, you will work as a Canadian Tax Advisor in a supportive environment that is conducive to career advancement. As a Canadian Tax Advisor, you will directly advise partners within the group's entities and business lines on various Canadian and international tax issues. You will be responsible for working with the global finance teams to produce tax compliance for foreign subsidiaries, participating in and supporting the tax compliance and tax accounting process for group entities, as well as performing complex tax research. In addition, you will deliver recommendations, support the group's objectives by providing sound tax planning and structuring advice, and act as a specialist and leader in your field of expertise on special mandates, business acquisitions and corporate reorganizations. Moreover, you will represent the company during audits by tax authorities and external audits, ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and actively participate in the process of continuous improvement in order to add value and improve efficiency. Finally, you will provide coaching and leadership to team members to advance their professional development.


Bilingual CPA with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Canadian taxation, with an intermediate level of Excel. The ideal candidate will be resourceful, intellectually curious and able to ask the right questions. We are looking for a great team player who will demonstrate excellent collaboration and communication skills.
