Description

We are looking for a Controller for a large, fast-growing, entrepreneurial SME in the construction sector. You'll be working directly with a friendly president for whom work-life balance is very important. He is aware of the value of work, and allows plenty of latitude. As Controller, you will be responsible for process improvement, control policies, accounting procedures and ERP implementation. You will approve accounts payable invoices, monitor supplier payments, follow up on collection of accounts receivable, and be responsible for financial planning and budgeting. A portion of your mandate will consist of clerical work, and you will also supervise an accounting assistant. In addition, you will be responsible for project cost accounting. Your role as Finance Director will enable you to make improvements and propose solutions by implementing new control processes where necessary. You will develop performance indicators and coordinate cash management in direct collaboration with management. In addition, you will help manage relations with banks and liaise with the external accountant.

Profile

Bilingual candidate with a minimum of 5 years of experience, ideally in the construction industry, with an advanced level of Excel and experience in clerical work. We are looking for an ambitious project cost expert who wants to contribute to the improvement and success of a great business. The successful candidate will need to be results-oriented and possess a strategic vision of the organization, and at the same time be able to get hands-on and structure the organization to take it to the next level. He or she will have to get down to work and build a team while collaborating in the company's digital shift. He or she will be innovative, collaborative and able to adapt to change and work as part of a team.
