In this Senior Financial Analyst role, you will work with business partners to develop monthly forecasts by brand, ensuring that all direct costs are appropriately budgeted and aligned with business unit objectives.
You will also apply analysis to provide effective decision support to brand managers across the business, while highlighting opportunities or risks and developing action plans.
Also, you will be responsible for providing value-added inventory analysis to the various business partners to support commercial decisions, maximize profitability and minimize risk.
You will review month-end brand P&L results in partnership with management, while proactively highlighting and resolving variances. You will be responsible for leading the quarterly business review (QBR) process, preparing schedules and analysis for presentation to senior management.
This is a non-hierarchical, agile working environment, in a competent and friendly team well known to Cielo.
Bilingual candidate (asset if CPA) with a minimum of 5 years' experience in financial planning and analysis, with a few years in a retail environment. We are looking for an intellectually curious candidate with a strong desire to learn and improve processes. He/she will have good analytical and accounting skills, and be comfortable in an environment of change. He/she should be able to guide customers to make the best possible decisions, and have a facility for communicating with non-financial business partners, while demonstrating good team spirit and work ethic.
Knowledge of Power BI is a great asset, as is knowledge of the consumer goods sector, which could help the analyst to better understand the business, volume discounts and commercial agreements, so as to make better analyses of margins.
