A large international company in rapid growth and acquisition mode in the engineering sector is looking for a Senior Accounting Analyst to join its team. You will report to a Senior Accounting Manager who allows a lot of autonomy while supporting her team. She trusts her team and has a lot of experience in her field. As a Senior Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for preparing complex accounting analyses, particularly in relation to future acquisitions.
You will provide support for the drafting and updating of accounting policies, participate in the preparation of a consolidated financial statement as well as the implementation of a new enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
You will be responsible for documenting the new processes and implementing a rigorous process for analyzing the various financial statement items.
In addition, you will be responsible for participating in special projects requiring in-depth knowledge of accounting standards, as well as optimizing policies and implementing internal control procedures.
Bilingual CPA with a minimum of 5 years of experience (asset if in the engineering sector), including a few years in an accounting firm and in industry as well as in auditing. We are looking for a candidate with a very good knowledge of accounting standards for private companies, as well as a good knowledge of Excel. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP and ERP is an asset. Good analytical skills and a rigorous approach are required.
