Description

For an international SME specialized in food industry that is growing rapidly and makes between one (1) and three (3) acquisitions per year, you will work as a Financial Information Manager and report to the Director of Finance.  The latter is very bright, results-oriented, knows how to position herself as a coach to help her team evolve and opts for a participative management. We know her because we have already worked with her. You will be joining a young and dynamic team, in a great company where people are important. The position is partially offered remotely.

 

 

You will be responsible for financial reporting by preparing the management discussion and analysis report on a quarterly and annual basis. You will also be responsible for the preparation of the annual consolidated budget process as well as the monthly and quarterly forecasts for the company. In addition, you will prepare the budget for the corporate division, including the shared services department identifying its areas of risk or opportunities for improvement. You will be responsible for various variance analyses between actuals and budget for the corporate division and for the shared services department in collaboration with the accounting and finance team. In addition, you will be responsible for weekly cash position reports, analysis and ad hoc reports to assist the Finance Director and senior management in key decision making and funding process. Finally, you will collaborate and support the CFO on special projects such as business acquisitions and integration, and interact regularly with members of the executive team (CFO, CFO and VPs of the various cost centers).

Profile

Bilingual CPA, CA, with a minimum of 7 years experience in a similar position and industry experience, with extensive knowledge of IFRS and Microsoft Offices 365. The desired candidate is a positive and engaging leader, has good interpersonal skills, is able to adapt in a fast growing environment, has excellent oral and written communication skills and is able to work effectively under pressure while meeting deadlines. He/she will have to think in continuous improvement mode and take good initiatives to do so.
