As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a key role within the finance team by ensuring the reliability of financial production while contributing to continuous process improvement for Brazilian entities. You will be responsible for reviewing, adjusting, and maintaining the profitability database, as well as monitoring analytical balances. You will analyze, reconcile, and review all accounts under your responsibility by performing variance analysis on revenue and balance sheet items, identifying trends, and following up on outstanding issues.
You will prepare and post daily and monthly journal entries under IFRS and US GAAP, while ensuring the timely delivery of complete and accurate financial data to reporting teams and management. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and respond to information requests, including those from external auditors, operations, client services, and reporting teams, ensuring proper follow-up and escalation when required.
In addition, you will actively contribute to system-related initiatives and continuous improvement efforts. This includes supporting reporting tool upgrades, participating in user acceptance testing, and assisting with post-deployment issue resolution. You will also help identify and implement process improvements, enhance controls, and optimize workflows to increase team efficiency and effectiveness.
Finally, you will support teams in the review and management of complex transactions, ensuring proper system treatment, accurate financial statement presentation, and alignment with performance management tools.
