Description
A rapidly growing international company in the professional services sector, expanding both organically and through acquisitions, is seeking a Senior Director of FP&A to join its team. You will report directly to the CFO, who has a long-standing relationship with Cielo and is highly regarded. He is an excellent mentor and coach. As Senior Director of FP&A, you will play a key role at the heart of the organization’s financial and strategic performance. Working closely with senior leadership, you will build true business partnerships to support growth, increase profitability, and ensure the company’s competitiveness in a constantly evolving environment.
You will be responsible for overall financial planning, including the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. You will lead profitability analyses for new projects and initiatives, collaborating with various stakeholders to inform decision-making.
As a key player in strategic planning, you will actively participate in defining and implementing the company’s overall strategy. You will identify growth opportunities, optimize processes, and drive improvements, while maintaining a constant focus on financial performance. Your ability to analyze results, identify variances against forecasts, and recommend corrective actions based on relevant performance indicators will be critical.
You will develop and implement robust tracking tools to evaluate results, anticipate opportunities, and manage risks using reliable and structured data. You will also play a leading role in deploying and evolving business intelligence (BI) solutions, optimizing data analysis and visualization to support informed decision-making.
As a motivating leader, you will train and support teams in the use of BI tools and help strengthen the organization’s financial culture. Finally, you will work closely with various departments to ensure alignment of financial objectives and the success of cross-functional projects.
Profile
Bilingual CPA with a minimum of 15 years of experience in a similar role (experience in the engineering sector is an asset), including strong expertise in managing complex financial partnerships, and at least 10 years of team management experience.
