Our client, an SME in the services sector, is seeking a VP of Finance to join its team. You will work alongside a CEO who is direct and gives significant autonomy—expect candid, transparent communication at all times. In this key strategic role, you will be responsible for restructuring and modernizing the entire finance function to support the company’s international growth. You will lead the implementation of an agile, high-performing finance organization capable of supporting the group’s rapid expansion across multiple markets.
You will oversee the transition of transactional operations to optimize operational efficiency and strengthen process standardization globally. You will implement uniform, automated, and reliable accounting procedures, ensuring accuracy and consistency of financial data across all entities.
As a visionary leader, you will drive the deployment of advanced financial technologies, including ERP integration, process automation, artificial intelligence, and real-time reporting. You will structure close, budgeting, and compliance processes across multiple jurisdictions—including Canada, the United States, and Latin America—ensuring smooth integration.
Your responsibilities will also include developing a tax and treasury strategy that supports global expansion ambitions, while collaborating closely with the CEO on strategic initiatives such as organic and inorganic growth, acquisitions, and public financing.
Finally, you will play a pivotal role within the executive team, building a finance culture focused on accuracy, rigor, and strategic impact, positioning the finance function as a true business partner driving the company’s performance and vision.
