Description

Are you looking for a strategic role in a financially strong SME that operates as a decentralized division of a publicly traded American multinational? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join as a Finance Project Manager in a dynamic engineering and manufacturing company that is highly responsive to the market, competitors, and market analyses. You will report directly to the Finance Director, a very approachable manager who values teamwork. You will also collaborate closely with senior management, including the VP of Finance. As a Finance Project Manager, you will be responsible for providing financial analyses to support decision-making and actively contribute to the financial strategy of projects. You will participate in negotiations and monitor financial performance (costs, margins, and cash), while recommending actionable improvements.

You will be expected to identify risks and opportunities, propose corrective actions, and ensure the reliability of financial forecasts. Working closely with project teams, you will optimize financial flows and contribute to operational efficiency.

In addition, you will ensure compliance with financial, tax, and contractual rules, participate in monthly closings, and support project review processes.

Furthermore, you will track contracts and budgets, manage intercompany flows, oversee partnership or consortium arrangements, and monitor key financial indicators to flag potential risks. You will provide expertise in currency management, cash optimization, and support the project manager in claims management and negotiations. Finally, you will contribute to the development of junior team members by sharing knowledge and coaching them on managing low- to medium-criticality projects. Profile

Bilingual candidate (CPA designation is a plus) with approximately 10 years of experience in finance, including project financial management. Experience in complex manufacturing and engineering sectors is an asset, as well as knowledge of IFRS standards and ERP systems. We are looking for a candidate with strong organizational skills who can effectively manage priorities in complex, matrix environments.
