We are offering an outstanding opportunity to join a fast-growing manufacturing company recognized for its expertise in developing and producing products for internationally recognized brands. Driven by an entrepreneurial mindset, a collaborative culture, and a strong commitment to innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence, the organization provides an environment where talented professionals can make a meaningful impact. You will report directly to the Vice President of Finance, whom we know exceptionally well at Cielo, having successfully recruited him for this organization several years ago. Young, dynamic, and highly approachable, he is known for his collaborative leadership style, strong business acumen, and ability to develop and empower his team. This role offers the opportunity to participate in exciting initiatives, contribute directly to the continuous improvement of financial and operational processes, and grow within an agile organization that combines the challenges of a high-growth company with the stability, structure, and resources of an established group. This position is offered on a hybrid work schedule.
As the Finance Manager, you will serve as a trusted business partner to the plant leadership team by ensuring sound financial management and actively supporting the achievement of operational and financial objectives. You will be responsible for financial planning, cost control, the delivery of accurate financial information, and maintaining a strong internal control environment. Through your financial analysis and recommendations, you will support strategic decision-making while contributing to the continuous improvement of the plant's overall performance and profitability.
You will lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, monitor plant performance, and analyze variances to identify opportunities for improvement. You will oversee manufacturing costs, standard costing, cost accounting, and inventory valuation to ensure the accuracy of financial results and provide meaningful insights to support operational decisions.
You will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and presenting monthly financial results while managing the entire month-end close process, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely reporting. In addition, you will oversee the plant's full accounting function, including accounts payable, invoice processing and payments, accounts receivable and collections, as well as payroll accuracy.
You will manage the plant's tax compliance requirements, including the preparation of corporate income tax returns and the timely filing and remittance of sales taxes.
Working closely with the operations team, you will monitor inventory levels, participate in physical inventory counts, and develop financial analyses that support business decisions. You will also develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure both financial and operational performance while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.
You will ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and financial controls, participate in both internal and external audits, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize costs, improve performance, and implement cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional looking to grow within a collaborative, performance-driven manufacturing environment where you will serve as a true business partner to operations, contribute to the continuous improvement of financial and operational processes, and make a meaningful impact on the plant's profitability.
You are a bilingual finance or accounting professional with 5 to 10 years of experience, ideally gained in a manufacturing environment. You have a strong understanding of cost accounting, standard costing, inventory management, and advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems. You are recognized for your strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and disciplined approach to your work. Highly organized and self-motivated, you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable managing multiple priorities. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills allow you to build strong relationships and effectively influence cross-functional teams. A CPA designation and prior experience in public accounting, preferably with a Big Four firm, would be considered strong assets.
