We are offering you the opportunity to join a well-established North American manufacturing company, recognized within its industry, as a Financial Analyst. As part of a leading international industrial group, the organization benefits from the strength and resources of a large corporation while maintaining an entrepreneurial culture and close ties to its operations. You will work in a multi-site manufacturing environment comprising several plants, where the organization is actively working to harmonize practices, strengthen internal controls and foster greater synergies across its various teams.
Reporting to the Assistant Corporate Controller, you will have the opportunity to grow within a transforming environment where collaboration, continuous improvement and change management play an important role. You will be given the autonomy to take ownership of your responsibilities, contribute to key initiatives and have a tangible impact on the evolution of financial processes and practices. This position is offered in a hybrid work model.
As a Financial Analyst, you will play a key role within the corporate finance team, helping ensure the accuracy, reliability and quality of financial information. You will work in a multi-site manufacturing environment and gain broad exposure to the organization’s corporate and consolidated financial results.
You will actively participate in the monthly and quarterly close processes, completed within a three-day timeframe. You will contribute to the preparation and analysis of financial statements, balance sheet and P&L reviews, as well as account and accrual analyses. You will perform various controls and validations to ensure the integrity of financial data and support the delivery of reliable financial information to internal and external stakeholders.
You will also contribute to the ongoing development of the organization’s consolidation system. This will include implementing controls over consolidated financial statements, enhancing financial reporting and developing variance analyses to provide greater insight into financial performance. On a quarterly basis, you will contribute to reporting to the parent company and perform more in-depth financial analyses.
Beyond the close process, a significant portion of your role will be dedicated to continuous improvement and optimization projects. You will collaborate with finance teams across the various manufacturing sites to standardize processes, improve efficiency and strengthen internal controls. You will also participate in cross-functional initiatives aimed at enhancing the finance function’s practices, processes and tools.
You will also be involved in budgeting, forecasting and monthly SG&A expense analysis, while supporting finance business partners with financial analyses to help drive operational and business decision-making.
Finally, you will participate in internal and external audits and contribute to year-end deliverables. You will assist in the preparation of annual financial statements and related notes while working closely with both corporate and plant finance teams. In a transforming environment, you will help build greater synergies across sites, harmonize financial practices and support the continued evolution of the finance function.
