We are offering you the opportunity to join a Canadian investment firm as a Manager, FP&A. As Manager, FP&A, you will play a strategic role within the organization by supporting financial analysis, valuation, and portfolio management activities. You will work closely with the investment team and various internal stakeholders to contribute to the company’s financial and strategic decision-making.
As part of your responsibilities, you will actively participate in the valuation process of portfolio companies by developing and maintaining robust financial models to ensure accurate and consistent valuations. You will also contribute to portfolio construction planning and optimization by providing in-depth financial analysis and strategic recommendations.
You will also be involved in the preparation of corporate profiles and investor presentations. In this capacity, you will prepare financial analyses, performance updates, and key fund-related metrics to support investor meetings and communications. You will ensure that financial information, investment highlights, and key performance indicators for portfolio companies remain accurate and up to date.
The role also involves strong collaboration with the Marketing and Investor Relations teams in support of fundraising activities. You will participate in the preparation of strategic documentation, including virtual data rooms and private placement memorandums (PPMs), while ensuring the accuracy and quality of financial information presented to investors and external stakeholders.
Finally, you will act as a key point of contact for investor-related financial inquiries and collaborate with internal teams, including Legal, Compliance, and Investment teams, to ensure rigorous, clear, and well-aligned financial communication across the organization.

Perfectly bilingual candidate holding a CPA, CBV, or CFA designation, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting, including exposure to business valuation. Experience in Venture Capital or Private Equity is considered a strong asset. A solid understanding of valuation methodologies as well as the technology sector will be highly valued.
We are seeking an analytical, tech-savvy, and organized candidate who demonstrates a strong interest in artificial intelligence, automation, and process optimization. The ideal candidate has a good command of business intelligence tools, databases, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite.
Autonomous and collaborative, the successful candidate must be able to effectively prioritize responsibilities, communicate with senior leadership, and adapt quickly within a dynamic and fast-evolving environment. A strong understanding of multi-entity corporate structures and legal documentation is also considered an asset for this role.
