Description

If you want to get involved in the renewable energy sector, we have the opportunity for you! For a fast-growing SME in the financial services industry, we are looking for a Financial Analyst. You will have the chance to work in a dynamic, agile environment where teamwork and communication are prioritized. Every team member is valued and important. You will report to a friendly, team-oriented manager who is an expert in compliance and highly values collaboration. This position is currently offered in a hybrid work mode.

As a Financial Analyst, you will act as a key partner to management teams by analyzing the company’s financial performance and providing recommendations that support strategic decision-making. Through your involvement in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, you will ensure data reliability and consistency in analyses presented to management.

Analyzing variances between actual results, budgets, and forecasts will be a core part of your role. You will identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities, while preparing clear financial reports and dashboards that help managers understand financial performance and key issues.

In close collaboration with operational teams, you will develop a deep understanding of the company’s activities to support initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, profitability, and growth. Your contribution will also include optimizing financial processes and continuously improving analytical tools and performance tracking.

Finally, you will participate in ad hoc financial projects, including profitability analyses and strategic mandates, demonstrating rigor, autonomy, and strong analytical skills in a constantly evolving environment.

Profile

You are not afraid to get hands-on with numbers and have strong experience in journal entries and accounting analyses. Comfortable with data, you enjoy working in Excel, building models, manipulating information, and digging deep to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial results.

You have an excellent understanding of accounting principles and standards and stand out for your analytical skills, rigor, and attention to detail. Dynamic environments don’t intimidate you, and you can manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.

Known for your logical mindset and problem-solving skills, you are comfortable with technology tools and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
