Description

A major player in the engineering and construction sector is looking for an Accounts Receivable Manager to join its team. You will report to a manager placed by Cielo—someone we value highly for her leadership style. She gives her team plenty of freedom and trust. The company offers a beautiful work environment, excellent work-life balance, and the position is offered in hybrid mode.

As Accounts Receivable Manager you will ensure close monitoring of client accounts in collaboration with internal operational teams and external clients. You will regularly analyze the accounts receivable aging report to identify at-risk accounts and recommend appropriate corrective actions. You’ll be responsible for escalating problem cases to the operations VPs and senior leadership, while ensuring consistent follow-up through to full resolution.

Additionally, you will develop and implement strategies to improve the company’s DSO. This includes integrating performance indicators and concrete measures to optimize collection processes and ensure strong cash flow management.

Profile

Bilingual CPA with a minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable management or collections, including experience in financial analysis or DSO monitoring, as well as a strong understanding of the accounts receivable cycle and recovery-related challenges. You demonstrate strong analytical and synthesis skills, enabling you to efficiently manage financial reports and quickly identify high-risk accounts. Comfortable in a dynamic environment where managing multiple priorities is key, you show good organizational skills, rigor, and initiative. Prior experience in team supervision or coordination is an asset, as is familiarity with multi-site operations. Your natural leadership allows you to rally stakeholders around common goals and ensure the smooth running of accounts receivable operations.
