We are, to this day, still in a market of candidates who always have a choice of several interesting offers. No matter what your company culture is (happy hour, food, on-site gym and other privileges), no one wants to be on site all the time.


Insisting on 100% face-to-face work when you have several open positions only makes those positions remain unfilled indefinitely.


If you want to attract top talent, be flexible!


Even one day a week of telecommuting will improve your ability to recruit and cost you absolutely nothing. You will have more productive employees who really want to work for you.


We always have these discussions in our team meetings, but this is our reality.


Most recruiters work on commission only and, believe me, they want to fill your positions. It's hard to do that when your hands are tied and unfortunately we are not magicians.
