You will work as a Senior Advisor – Financial Reporting, reporting directly to a supportive manager who is the opposite of a micromanager and champions autonomy. As a financial reporting professional, you will act as an expert in analyzing and accounting for complex or non-routine transactions across divisions, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and best practices. You will ensure the rigorous application of accounting standard updates and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes.

You will participate in the preparation of quarterly consolidated financial statements and the associated Management Discussion & Analysis (MD&A), playing a key role in the year-end process leading to the production of annual financial statements. You will work closely with the Director of Financial Reporting in preparing the audit file and responding to external auditors’ requests, particularly regarding complex or unusual transactions.

You will also contribute to drafting corporate documents for the Board of Directors and external stakeholders. Additionally, you will participate in the development and updating of the IFRS accounting policy manual and provide training to divisional finance teams. Finally, you will perform any other related tasks required to effectively support the finance function and help achieve organizational objectives.

Profile

CPA (Auditor), bilingual, with a minimum of five years of relevant experience in accounting and financial reporting, including several years in both public practice and industry. Strong expertise in IFRS standards and a solid understanding of the challenges related to their application. We are seeking a candidate recognized for their rigor, strong adherence to deadlines, and ability to deliver high-quality work under tight timelines. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills and collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams in dynamic and demanding environments.
