Our client, a rapidly growing technology company with a strong ecological mission, is looking to add a Chief Financial Officer. You will report to a manager who is the complete opposite of a micromanager. You will join a stimulating environment in a company growing both organically and through acquisitions, where you can showcase your skills and continue to grow. The position is offered in a hybrid work format.
As Chief Financial Officer, you will provide detailed financial analyses and strategic recommendations to management, including evaluating investment projects and other key initiatives. You will conduct profitability analyses of products, services, and contracts, actively contribute to developing pricing policies, and design and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to achieve organizational goals. Preparing annual budgets, financial forecasts, and managing cash flow are also part of your responsibilities.
You will directly supervise an accounting technician and manage future department hiring, while ensuring the preparation of monthly financial statements and compliance with tax and regulatory requirements. You will identify and implement improvements to financial processes, including automating relevant tasks, to optimize the department’s performance and efficiency.
You will maintain relationships with financial partners and participate in fundraising activities as needed, while collaborating with the leadership team on strategic projects, such as partnerships and business acquisitions. This role combines strategic vision, operational oversight, and direct involvement in key growth initiatives.
Bilingual CPA with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in a similar role in accounting, finance, restructuring, private equity, or investment funds. You have a strong command of financial tools and accounting mechanisms and know how to apply them to support strategic, informed decision-making.
Your excellent organizational and communication skills enable you to interact effectively with all stakeholders in both French and English. You have a strong interest in technology, the application of artificial intelligence, and a process-oriented approach to optimizing financial operations.
