For an international SME that has been growing very fast since 2018 and specializes in the IT services industry, you will have the chance to work as a Revenue Manager and report to the Finance Director. She is a manager we know very well, as we have worked with her several times before. She is a brilliant person, takes pleasure in coaching her people to see them grow and she is very appreciated by her teams.
The incumbent will ensure that revenue recognition is in accordance with the company's accounting standards. Then, you will work in collaboration with the sales, legal and operations teams and analyze new contracts and apply the appropriate accounting methods. You will perform monthly revenue closings on schedule, including approving journal entries and reconciling overall revenue, work in progress, and deferred revenue accounts, ensuring accuracy. You will analyze monthly results comparing to budget and prior year. You will participate in the external audit process of revenues and related items and assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
You will also have a process improvement component. Here you will act as a business partner to collaborate with internal teams as well as technical and business partners to define, establish, improve and implement accounting systems, processes and procedures. Subsequently, you will: develop and maintain revenue process documentation, including the design and documentation of key controls related to the revenue cycle. You will also have the opportunity to participate in various ad hoc projects and analyses.
Finally, you will have the personnel management component. This will consist of: developing and ensuring the development of the billing and accounts receivable team members. You will also act as a resource person by answering questions from the teams.

Bilingual CPA, 5-8 years of experience, including a minimum of 5 years in accounting and management, with a good knowledge of Excel and accounting software. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, rigorous, team player, able to manage priorities and be results oriented. Experience in a multi-currency environment is an asset.
