Description

Our client, a large and growing public company in the manufacturing industry, is looking for a Financial Analyst, Results and Reporting. You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and take on some great challenges, including participating in process improvements. You will report to a calm manager who cares about the company. She likes precision, autonomy, communication and improvement. She keeps her door open and likes to grow people. This position is offered in hybrid mode.

Within your position, you will oversee the process of developing and preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for the company and its affiliates in accordance with NCEF standards. You will also be responsible for overseeing the production of the monthly, budget and annual segment balance sheet, preparation of pension plan financial statements, import quota applications and other financial reports. In addition, you will review various financial reports and analyses for management, various committees and company boards. Moreover, you will actively participate in the year-end audit process for both the company and its subsidiaries, including follow-up with the auditors. You will also develop and implement procedures related to general accounting and financial information management. Finally, you will manage and supervise the accounting team.

Profile

Functionally bilingual CPA (or pending) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in a firm or in industry, with a good knowledge of Excel. We are looking for an autonomous, resourceful and rigorous candidate, who has a facility to work in a team and to remain organized. The candidate must have excellent analytical skills.
