For a large international company that has been growing rapidly for the past three years and specializes in the technology and logistics industry, you will work as a Director, Financial Reporting and Transformation. You will report to a Senior Finance Manager that Cielo likes and knows very well having worked with her in the past. She always keeps her door open, is a good listener, and really wants to train her teams to grow. You will have the opportunity to work in project-mode, given the international expansion of the company and the new processes that will need to be put in place.
As Director, Financial Reporting and Transformation, you will be responsible for financial reporting and treasury, which will include: managing and controlling month-end processes; controlling cash outflows; ensuring payment deadlines are met and capital programs are properly managed; overseeing the monthly GST and QST for 4 legal entities; overseeing monthly billing activities. In addition, you will work with your team members in the collection of accounts receivable and with the payroll team to ensure compliance of payroll related accounting activities. You will contribute to the implementation of best practices in internal controls, act as a liaison with the banks to maintain and update the financial platforms used by the company and will be called upon to intervene in the budget process. Moreover, you will be responsible for consolidation and external reporting, which will include: establishing monthly consolidated financial results, being in charge of the completion of documents presented to senior management, contributing to the drafting of monthly financial reports, consolidating financial analyses and recording explanations for variances (previous months and quarters). In addition, you will draft and implement policies related to IFRS standards by supporting your colleagues and actively participate in the realization of various projects in the Finance department, including the implementation, validation and maintenance of financial reports required for the department's financial activities.

Fully bilingual CPA/CPA Auditor with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar position in industry, with experience in stock market accounting, multi-currency and IFRS/public reporting. Experience with complex accounting, financial instruments and advanced Excel is required. We are looking for a candidate with leadership skills and a dynamic personality. The candidate must be results oriented, bright and willing to put in the work and the hours to contribute to the success of a large company. Experience in a Big4 firm is a strong asset.
