Our client, a large and growing company in the manufacturing industry, is looking for a Director - Balance Sheet and Financial Statements. You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and to take on great challenges, including participating in process improvements. You will report to a manager who likes precision, autonomy, communication and improvement. She is open to change and likes to make people grow. The position is partially offered remotely.



As the Director - Balance Sheet and Financial Statements, you will have two technicians, two analysts and two senior analysts under your supervision. You will oversee the process of developing and preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for the company and its affiliates, in accordance with ASPE standards. Moreover, you will oversee the production of the monthly segment balance sheet, budget and annual statements as well as the preparation of pension plan financial statements, import quota applications and other financial reports. You will also be responsible for overseeing and reviewing various reports and financial analyses for management, various committees and company boards of directors, as well as actively participating in the year-end audit process for both the company and its subsidiaries, including the follow-up with the auditors. Furthermore, you will develop and implement procedures related to general accounting and financial information management while supervising and coaching the accounting team.

Functionally bilingual CPA with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in practice and industry, with good knowledge of Excel. We are looking for someone who knows how to help people and has great teamwork skills. The ideal candidate has a desire to evolve, is resourceful and is able to follow several projects at once while showing efficiency. This individual wants to be involved in IT systems and has good communication skills. The CPA Auditor designation is an asset.
