As the Assistant Manager, Accounting and Administration, you will produce financial statements, make accounting entries and record entries in the Dynamics accounting software. In addition, you will be responsible for preparing monthly and regional government financial statements, converting regional government financial data and budget forecasts into Canadian currency and performing bank reconciliations. You will be responsible for approving the accounts payable list prior to payment, executing approved wire transfer requests, performing electronic bank transfers and reconciling credit card statements on a monthly basis. Moreover, you will support the external IT firm and users to ensure the smooth operation of the computer system and information technology and supervise and manage the food service firm, front desk staff and physical plant coordinator to ensure the smooth operation, maintenance and excellence of service to users of the Parent Company. In addition, you will greet and coordinate the visit of external individuals and groups visiting or using the Parent Company's facilities, ensuring that their needs are met. In addition, you will prepare dashboards and reports to support three committees and attend their meetings and prepare and complete various tax reports. Finally, you will also participate in the annual audit, verify financial forecasts and prepare the consolidated budget.


Bilingual candidate with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, with an advanced level of Excel.
