Do you want to work in a financially strong company that values the human side? This is your opportunity to work as an Assistant Controller for a growing SME in the pharmaceutical sector. You will report to a very open and friendly VP who knows a lot about the business. You will have the chance to work in a hands-on position and grow with the structure. The position is partially offered remotely.



As the Assistant Controller, you will prepare and review accounting entries and period-end adjusting entries and ensure that financial statements are accurate and reported in accordance with appropriate accounting standards and company accounting policies. In addition, you will be responsible for preparing financial reports, including internal and external interim and annual financial statements, preparing R&D records, managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, and assisting with tax compliance issues and analysis of results and explaining variances. In addition, you will assist the VP Finance in implementing and managing the internal control and external audit processes and coordinate the preparation of the year-end audit file for each audited entity and ensure that an appropriate audit file is prepared. In addition, you will work closely with the external auditors on audit assignments and implement and review internal procedures. In addition, you will also assist the VP in the administrative management of human resources, administer the company's cell phone account and oversee the purchasing process. You will also have the opportunity to participate in special projects, organize social events and prepare various communications. Finally, you will respond to the punctuality requests of the management team.


Bilingual candidate with a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role (asset if in the pharmaceutical sector), excellent knowledge of Excel and accounting standards.
