As a Finance Director, you will be responsible for supervising a small team, managing accounting operations, general ledger production, trial balances and preparation of month-end accounting records. You will produce monthly and year-end financial statements, prepare consolidated financial information according to the specific constraints of government partners, prepare annual budgets and manage cash flow and bank relations. In addition, you will be responsible for preparing corporate financing files, conducting financial planning to facilitate the company's business decisions, analyzing the profitability of internal-external projects according to the company's objectives, and evaluating financial risks and opportunities. You will also be responsible for filing tax returns, managing files (sales taxes, payroll deductions, etc.), overseeing the preparation of audit files with the auditors, supervising regular transactions, investments and all commercial transactions that could materially affect the financial health of the company. You will also have the opportunity to be responsible for technological improvements to optimize the accounting processes. In addition, you will oversee the production of activity reports to the government, develop/ensure the implementation of best practices in financial, administrative and accounting management, prepare/manage board and sub-committee meetings. You will have the opportunity to really get involved by participating in the negotiation of contracts and managing agreements with partners taking into account all legal aspects. Finally, you will contribute to strategic planning and fundraising. 


Bilingual CPA with a minimum of 10 years of experience, including experience managing a small team and NPO (or SME), with very good knowledge of MS Office. Experience in managing financial activities and audits is required. We are looking for a hands on and autonomous candidate who can see the strategic side and act as a business partner. Good legal and tax knowledge as well as experience in managing a non-profit organization are assets.
