As the Controller, you will be responsible for monthly/annual financial statements, accounting data compliance and internal cost reports for the Directors. You will also perform various analyses and interpretations of financial reports and will be responsible for providing reliable, rigorous and accurate financial information at all times according to accepted accounting practices. In addition, you will supervise the work of the accounting technicians, the accounting clerk, the accounts payable supervisor and the reception. You will also prepare the annual budgets of the divisions in collaboration with the Directors and the VP Finance, prepare the audit files and take charge of the year-end audit. You will be an important member of the company in ensuring its smooth operation. Moreover, you will ensure the quality and effectiveness of the systems, controls, regulations and accounting practices used, maintain effective and efficient management of accounting files and entries and make suggestions for improvement in order to optimize processes and train staff. You will participate in development and improvement projects aimed at optimizing the efficiency of the accounting department, while managing project/contract support systems in collaboration with the divisional directors. In addition, you will collaborate in the preparation of the annual file for the renewal of insurance, the follow-ups of the end of projects, the invoicing, the monthly reports for the bank and the implementation of new acquisitions. Finally, you will collaborate with the VP Finance on certain file analyses.


Bilingual CPA with a minimum of 5 years experience in a SME with advanced knowledge of Excel and of the relevant laws and regulations. We are looking for a candidate with leadership, initiative, interpersonal skills and loyalty. They must be able to guide a team and collaborate with all internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate is ambitious, resourceful, solution-oriented and able to work effectively in a team environment.
