As a Corporate Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for the monthly consolidation of the parent company and its subsidiaries and will assist in the preparation of the quarterly and annual file of future and current tax provisions as well as the supporting documentation to be provided to external consultants for the preparation of tax returns. You will also be responsible for maintaining the reconciliation of tax ledger accounts, implementing the Group's transfer pricing strategy and maintaining the reporting schedule required by the tax authorities in Canada and the United States for sales tax, corporate tax, and any other compliance requests. Furthermore, you will assess the need for registration of Canadian or US entities in new tax jurisdictions, assist in the preparation of tax documentation upon registration in a new jurisdiction and share this information with internal stakeholders. In addition, you will be responsible for analyzing and participating in the optimization of cash management, preparing cash position reports for senior management, coordinating the accounting for an entity outside of Canada and participating in the annual insurance renewal process for the Group. You will also participate in the preparation of annual audit files. Finally, you will support the Senior Director - Compliance and the Corporate Controller in ad hoc initiatives.
Bilingual CPA with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a multi-site/multi-currency company in an international context and expertise in cross-currency accounting and consolidation. The candidate should have an advanced level of Excel and be strong in systems (Excel, MSD). We are looking for a candidate who will be able to support the rapid growth of the company by his ability to work in a team, his resourcefulness and his rigor. The profile sought is bright, autonomous and able to communicate effectively with the various business units. ERP or D365 experience is an asset.
