Our client, a large company in the food industry, is looking for a Costing Manager to join their team. You will report to a costing expert who guides his team while giving them a lot of autonomy. He is a good communicator, always keeps his door open and likes to be involved by proposing ideas. This is a great opportunity for personal and professional growth and development. You will be working in a company where there is great interaction between employees. 


As a Costing manager, you will ensure that you have a regular presence in the operations departments (production, logistics, maintenance, etc.) to master the operational processes as well as being directly involved in the pricing. You will maintain the costing on a regular basis, propose and implement process improvements in order to always use the best practices. In addition, you will be responsible for developing and publishing performance management tools and be involved in the month-end process. You will be the contact person for the evaluation of the profitability and/or the impact of different projects and you will participate in the inventory process (establishing the value, being involved in the physical count). Finally, you will supervise a team of 3 people.

Bilingual candidate (functional level) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including experience in costing and manufacturing industry, with good computer skills and an advanced level of Excel. We are looking for a proactive and dynamic candidate who wants to learn and take on new challenges by demonstrating autonomy, rigor, organization and a sense of responsibility. The candidate must be hands on and motivated to take on new challenges. The successful candidate must be able to work in a team. The CMA designation is an asset.
