For a big international company in constant growth and specialized in the IT industry, you will hold the position of Accounting Analyst. You will report to a manager who listens and wants to see the people on her team grow. She advocates collaboration and is always there to offer her support. You will have the opportunity to work in a company with multiple acquisitions in sight, in a fast-paced environment, which will allow you to contribute to the evolution of the company. The position is partially offered remotely.

As an Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for participating in accounting activities, which will include: analyzing various general ledger accounts, participating in the production of monthly consolidated financial statements and the month-end accounting process, ensuring the integrity of financial data, participating in the year-end audit file, the production of the annual consolidated financial statements as well as various accounting cycle improvement projects and ad hoc analyses. In addition, you will prepare external reports, which will include: preparing financial presentations sent to the Board of Directors, financial and operational results sent monthly to shareholders and managers as well as financial information sent to creditors according to the credit agreement in effect. You will prepare the CDEA request and the optimization of the amount claimed. Moreover, you will participate in the budgeting process, which will include: preparing financial projections, including the annual budget and the mid-year forecast, as well as analyzing variances between the budget, the previous year and actual results. Finally, you will perform other tasks and process improvements, which will include: assisting the Controller in the implementation of internal controls and process improvements across the various entities of the company as well as participating in the creation of automated management dashboards that meet the needs of internal customers by providing them with relevant information for decision making.

Bilingual candidate with a minimum of 2 years experience in a law firm, with a very good command of Excel. The ideal candidate is able to manage his time and be autonomous. We are looking for someone who is rigorous, resourceful and ready to contribute to the smooth operation and growth of the company. A CPA designation is an asset.
