Our client, for a large company in the service industry, you will be working as Director of Finance and Administration in an entrepreneurial environment that has a very good reputation, which will allow you to grow within the company. This position is offered on a telecommuting basis with occasional travel.
In this position, you will be in charge of several aspects such as accounting. You will be responsible for the production and preparation of monthly financial statements and year-end provision and write-off analyses. You will prepare and pay GST/QST rebates and follow up on instalments. Also, you will oversee the human resources aspect, which means that you will be the first contact in this field within the company. You will do the complete staffing cycle of the administrative personnel. You will prepare evaluations and meet with the administrative staff. You will answer various questions from staff and associates; and you will manage the group insurance plan. Finally, you will also be responsible for the internal services component. You will respond to requests from building administrators and oversee the progress of office space set-ups. You will have other tasks related to the position.
Bilingual CPA, minimum 10 years experience in a similar role with expertise in billable hours. The ideal profile is autonomous, rigorous, resourceful and has good judgment. The Finance Manager we are looking for is capable of macro/micro vision and also able to roll up their sleeves. Industry experience is a strong asset.
